ASH CREEK GRACIE

     We have been invited several times to big gatherings of goat folks at Terry and Sue Taylor's at Smyer, Texas.  They have helped us so much and have become great friends!  What a blessing!  Due to the influence of all these wonderful people who have taught us so much, our direction is now on selling show wethers, replacement stock and striving toward top quality in our foundation stock.  We may be small, but we intend to work toward the BEST.  Since the purchase of our beautiful "Gracie," we have pondered the decision of who to flush her to for show quality stock.  Our first flush was a great success with many thanks going to Ronnie and Earl Peacock.  We believe we have produced our next herd sire and two flush does for our breeding program.  Our next flush is scheduled for January 2010 at King Farms Boers in Plainview.  In October, we made the decision to flush to a wonderful buck in our area, owned by Nash Boer Goats.  This buck is an own son of the great EGGstra Flashy Clip.  We can't wait to see what Miss Gracie will produce this time!

These babies have a wide, clean chest.  They are long bodied and have a long pretty neck.  Check out that bone!  Pictured here are Bo Diddley, Chantilly, and Ginger at 2 weeks of age.  We knew then that they were keepers!

Our first flush has been a learning experience!  We are proud to announce that this flush has not only given us our next herd sire, but has given us 2 flush does!  The other kids from this flush have been sold to ranches in Colorado, Arizona, Oklahoma, and Texas!  We are confident that these offspring will be a tremendous asset to these boer goat breeders!
